The CBA was able to purchase a set of bleachers and lights from a school that was upgrading. In the first shot, with the help of Ray's Construction, we were able to dismantle the bleachers, and get them transported to Carney. In the second shot, you can see it took quite a crew to get them erected, and a couple of tractors. No one was hurt, and everyone worked really hard and long. As you can see from the pictures, this was quite a process to get the bleachers erected. What an accomplishment for our community! The bleachers now stand proudly on our sports complex field, and are awaiting a fresh paint job. We have some wood to replace, but the aluminum seats are installed and the bleachers are ready for use. The lights are up and working, as well as the scoreboard. We really have come a long way, baby! |

Carney Bulldogs take the field for the first time in nearly 90 years! What an exciting evening it was for the first game of the season. The community came out in full force to enjoy the football games. The Carney Bulldogs took a commanding lead, and never looked back. The Carney Sports Compex and our football teams continue to be a uniting factor of our community. |

The crowd is visiting the concession stand. This concession stand building was donated to the CBA by the Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma. Please feel free to visit their website at [Iowa Nation] |
The scoreboard and parking lot improvements shown in the video were all done on September 2, 2008. This was quite an undertaking in itself, and we had quite a crew to help with it all. We owe them each a huge gratitude! The Carney Sports Complex is really taking shape. Please enjoy the video.

Pond bank on the south side of the field. In order to prevent run off into the pond, we need $3,000.00 to cover the bank with sod, landscaping, trees, and shrubs as soon as possible. The top of this bank will have two to three picnic tables with awnings for public use. This will provide the community with a nice place to spend the day, have a picnic, and enjoy the football games, or possibly in the future, soccer games. With the plans to make the Carney Sports Complex a multi use facility, this area can be used most of the year by the entire community. |
